Boil Water Notice – Lake Marion Shores

Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents of Lake Marion Shores, located in Clarendon County, to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking. This is due to repair of a water line.

Repeal of Boil Water Notice – Lake Marion Shores

The Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents served by the referenced water system that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking. Following disinfection and an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected from the drinking water system serving the area. The results of this sampling indicated that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
