Boil Water Advisory – Caine Lane

Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents of Caine Lane, located in
Clarendon County, to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking
or cooking. This is due to the repair of a water line.
Residents should continue to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to
drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department.
Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking
purposes.

Special Called Election Board Meeting – December 11, 2023

Clarendon County Voter Registration & Election Board will hold a special called
meeting on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 @ 5:30 p.m. at the Clarendon
County Voter Registration & Elections Office in the auditorium. 3 South Church

Repeal of Boil Water Advisory – Lake Marion Shores

Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents of Lake Marion Shores
Road, located in Clarendon County, that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking
or cooking. Bacteriological samples were collected from the drinking water system serving the
community. The results of this sampling indicated that the system is now safe to use for drinking
and cooking purposes.
