Manages all aspects of the Landfill operations for Clarendon County. Management duties will include budget development and administration, staff management, and responsibility for daily operations. Develops and carries out policies, procedures and programs as related to both daily and long-range management of the Landfill. Know how to operate a class 2 landfill and have or be able to get a class 2 certification.
The Building Official ensures all new construction is constructed in compliance with the International Building Code, the International Residential Code, the National Electrical Code, National Plumbing, HVAC, Sprinkler, Swimming Pool and all other building/zoning Codes & Ordinances adopted by the County. The BO reviews all construction plans for all construction projects.
Clarendon County advises the residents of Hudson rd that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking. Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by Clarendon County . The results of this sampling indicate that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
Clarendon County advises the residents of the Hudson rd to vigorously boil water for at one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking. A drop in system pressure in the water system has resulted in a loss of service to Hudson rd. There has not been confirmed contamination of the system. However, because of the loss of pressure, customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by Clarendon County. Also, any ice made from the water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes
